Rules
Always Begging for a Jack Fantasy Football League
League rules:
100 dollar league fee
16 week season for points
4 week season for playoffs
Trades
Trades will be allowed. At a cost of two dollars per player per person....if you want to trade JJ Stokes for Randy Moss then you put up two and the other person puts up two. If you want to trade Edgerrin for Priest Holmes and some guy from Cleveland then if you get two players its 4 bones and 2 from the other person and so on. A trade can be made between positions...a RB for WR. However if you trade away players at non like positions you put your playoff rosters at risk. ALL TRADES MUST BE MADE 24HOURS BEFORE GAME TIME AND THEN OK'D BY THE COMMISH THROUGH THE MESSAGE BOARD.
Free Agents
Free agents are 6 bones with no limit on moves. Free agents can be picked up after someone else lets them go.Your team is locked after Week 12, going into the playoffs.
For playoff rosters you must field 4 total teams comprised from your master roster. Teams must be labeled or named as appropriate to distinguish. These rosters are set at the beginning of the year. Whatever roster you set at that time is in play for the duration of the season into the playoff season beginning in week 13. The only way a move will be made to this roster is if one of your bench players is subbed in, at which time that player can only be subbed out for the player he replaced or a free agent. A player may also be replaced on a playoff roster if a free agent is acquired for the master roster and a player on this roster is dropped. So if for example you have Derek Anderson on your master roster and you drop him for Rashard Mendenhall you are down a quarterback for that team. Mendenhall may be added to any of your team’s rosters. 8 teams make the playoffs based on head to head record. If all four of your teams are strong enough to make the playoffs; job well done. If none of your teams make the playoffs, perhaps this league isn’t for you. None of your teams will match up against each other until the playoff round. With a total of 4 players that means there are 16 total teams. Each of your teams will play each of your opponent’s teams one time during regular season weeks 1-12.
For master roster a new lineup must be submitted each week regardless of previous week’s lineup. Submission of team is due before start of any game in which your player is playing. If there is a Thursday game and you have not submitted a new lineup you cannot get credit for any player in that game.
There is a maximum of 4 starts at any one position throughout the duration of the season for master roster. Therefore if you have Jeff Garcia on your roster and you play him weeks 1-4 he becomes an ineligible player towards the most points roster. He will still accumulate points towards whatever playoff roster you have him on.
Each week’s roster must be comprised of:
2quarterbacks
2running backs
3wide receivers
1tight end
1defensive lineman
1linebacker
1defensiveback
1offensive line
1special teams player
